Civil society institutions represent the democratic expression of a society where citizens actively express their agreement and commitment to promote the economic and sociocultural development of their community’s life. Today, more and more civil society institutions registered at national and local level are actively involved into the local problems solving, the final results depending on the collaboration degree with local public authorities, as well as on the citizens’ willingness to be involved in certain activities. In this context, this article aims to briefly analyze the specific and general functions of the Moldovan civil society institutions. |
