This article is dedicated to the study of the settlement planning and house-building traditions of Scythian time sites in the Seym river basin. The planning system of hillforts in Seym region is compared to the rest of the territory of forest-steppe and forest regions. Several alternative interpretations of the function of Kuzina Gora hillfort are proposed. The construction of Scythian time pit-houses is considered, the metric characteristics of the buildings are described. Special attention is paid to the problem of the distribution of round pit-houses, there are suggestions of the reasons for their occurrence in the forest-steppe. At the end of the article, alternative reconstruction of the appearance of the pit-houses is proposed.

Articolul este dedicat studiului planimetriei şi tradiţiilor construcţiei spaţiilor locative în aşezările din perioada scitică din bazinul râului Seim. Sunt analizate principiile planificării interne a fortificaţiilor, fiind comparate între ele, dar şi cu alte monumente din zona de silvostepă şi stepă. Se propun câteva interpretări ale funcţionalităţii fortificaţiei de la Kuzina Gora. Se analizează modul de construcţie a locuinţelor, caracteristicile metrice şi arhitectonica construcţiilor. O atenţie deosebită a fost acordată problemei legate de distribuţia locuinţelor circulare, sunt sugereate ipoteze ale cauzelor apariţiei acestora în zona de silvostepă. La sfârşitul articolului se propun reconstrucţii alternative ale locuinţelor din regiune.

Работа посвящена изучению планировки и домостроительства на памятниках скифского времени в бассейне Сейма. Рассматриваются принципы планировки городищ, сравниваются между собой и другими памятниками лесостепи и лесной полосы. Предлагается несколько вариантов назначения городища Кузина Гора. Рассматривается конструкция жилищ на памятниках Посеймья, приводятся метрические и конструктивные показатели построек. Отдельное внимание уделено проблеме распространения круглых жилищ, высказываются предположения о причинах их появления в лесостепи. В конце работы предлагается альтернативная реконструкция жилищ региона.
