The purpose of the review is an attempt to generalize and analyze the literature on the possible causes of a prolonged asymptomatic course of malignant neoplasms of the prostate (PCa). The results of recent studies point to metabolic atypism, the peculiarities of the structure of the nervous tissue in oncogenesis. There was also a specific effect of cancer cytokines on immunocompetent cells (ICC) of the tumor microenvironment followed by the secretion of bioactive substances, which can also affect the transfer of nociceptive impulses.. |
