Rezumat

Experiments on the exposure of dry wheat seeds to a magnetic field in a frequency range of 110 Hz with a flux density of 4050 T have shown that, in the period of active cell division, the cells of plants become more sensitive to external fields. In view of this fact, the seeds of the experimental sample show better results on germination percentage and spout length than the seeds of the reference sample against the background of natural fields under environmentally safe conditions. Under the action of technogenic electromagnetic fields, the experimental seeds showed worse results on germination percentage and sprout length than the reference seeds; this fact proves the enhancement of the negative role of these fields on the cells of the developing organism. Taking into account the general laws governing the development of organisms at the cellular level, we can assume that technogenic fields play a particular negative role for a human body at the moment of impregnation and initial development of the body when the cells of the embryo most actively respond to the surrounding fields.
