In the study „Library of Condriţa monastery from Moldova (XVI-XIX)” authors have attempted to reconstruct the whole spectrum of books which came into possession of the monastery, beginning from the XVI century, when it was founded, till the end of the XIX century. There were identified 70 books (compared to 15 which were known before this study was developed) belonging to the monastery, including
13 manuscripts and 57 printed books, dating from XVI-XIX centuries. These bibliophile values have been copied or printed in the Romanian principalities, including Bessarabia, and the East-Slavic states. In the annex the authors bring up a list of all titles of these books. |
