Rezumat | ||||||
Universality is a fundamental constitutional principle pertaining to the recognition of the human rights and freedoms. It’s necessary to mention that the principle of universality can’t be found between general principles, but asserts as a principle branch. This concept is principle branch of constitutional law, fundamental branch of contemporary law system which reflects, inter alia, legal status of a citizen. Nowadays, it’s allowed and recognized that the rights and freedoms are universal and indivisible. The principle of universality is conjugated with other fundamental principles as: the right of each person to know his rights and obligations, equal rights of citizens, compliance of international treaties, etc. Universality of fundamental rights, freedoms and obligations – as fundamental constitutional principle - is enshrined in article 15 of Constitution of the
Republic of Moldova, where is showed that citizens of the Republic of Moldova have the rights and freedoms enshrined in Constitution and other laws and have obligations provided by them. |
