În articol sunt analizate particularităţile cromatice ale arhitecturii de Smolensk din secolele XII‑XX. Sunt scoase în evidenţă şi descrise straturile cromatice în procesul de dezvoltare coloristică a oraşului: stratul arhitecturii vechi, stratul perioadelor lituaniene şi poloneze, stratul din perioada Imperiului Rus, stratul arhitecturii din timpul sovietic. Sunt examinate paleta şi dominantele cromatice ale culorilor arhitectonice din perioadele anunţate.

В статье анализируются хроматические особенности смоленской архитектуры XII‑ХХ вв. Выделяются и описываются цветовые слои в развитии колористики города — слой древней архитектуры, слой литовского и польского периодов, слой периода Российской империи, слой советской архитектуры. Рассматриваются палитра и хроматические доминанты архитектурных цветов выделенных периодов.

In the article chromatic peculiarities of Smolensk architecture of the 12th‑20th centuries are analyzed. There are layers of colors which are singled out and described in the development of city color — the layer of ancient architecture, the layer of Lithuanian and Polish periods, the layer of the Russian Empire period, the layer of Soviet architecture. We consider the color and the chromatic dominants of architectural colors of these periods.
