The paper describes the achievements of the journal „Limba Română” during its 33 years of activity. The significant contribution of the Magazine to the promotion of scientific truth with reference to history and the Romanian language as well as to the promotion of cultural values in the Romanian space are highlighted. Apart from that, important events dedicated to the promotion of the Romanian language in the Pruto-Nistrian space are mentioned: the 18th Congress of the Romanian-American Academy of Arts and Sciences from 1993, the Decision of the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova from 09.09.1994 and the Scientific Conference with the generic „Romanian language is the correct name of our language” held under the auspices of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova on July 20-21, 1995 in the premises of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova |
