The professor, doctor habilitate, doctor honoris causa Tudor DINU from the University of Bucharest evokes the fundamental studies of the Romanian historian Vlad Mischevca, dedicated to the genesis of the Bessarabian Problem (1812). Mentioning, in this context, that the author - sine ira et studio - leaned with great care on the activity of some of the princes Phanariot of Moldavia and Wallachia, thus reserving for the historian Vlad Mischevca a place of honor in the pantheon of Romanian scholars. Noting, at the same time, that, using his good knowledge of Greek history, the historian from Moldova took care to shed light on the long and fruitful relations between the Romanian Principalities and the Holy Mount Athos.
