This study focuses on the evolution of Serdary institution and its lordsowners. For a better understanding of the nature of this institution and those who have served a more comprehensive approach is required, the ascent up to the hierarchy of the job holders, thru a review of the documentation claims in which appear before and after the dignity of Serdar. This was initially chosen as an example one of the most important officials at the end of XVII century – beginning of the eighteenth century, which was about half a century serving the country, holding the position of Serdar in the difficult time of history. After studying its evolution ladder we can distinguish some aspects of the time when he exercised this function, and also to emphasize the role which he has played in his time.
