There is proposed a method of determiantion af the limits of excision in cutaneous
melanoma during the preoperative period without using the biopsy of the tumor. The limits of the skin incision from melanoma are established on the basis of thermographical and ultrasound examinations and are calculated according to a mathematical formula. 76 patients (study group) have been treated using this method, in comparison with 80 patients (witness group) treated by the classical method. |
