In these changing times, leadership is the key to individuals and organizations success. Management represents a critical determinant of organizational effectiveness of the police. Inspectors and others holding positions of power must engage, motivate and guide subordinates, community members, and other local officials. The essence of effective leadership involves achieving goals, objectives and mission of the organization and unity. Effective leadership in police interests of workers and citizens. The vast majority of what is written about leadership in the police take the data from the military and corporate-commercial areas, who argue that efficiency and performance in any activity are related to strategic leadership, but especially to the leader’s personality.
