Introduction. In the determinism of perinatal mortality are introduced a lot of factors which influence directly or not and frequently in association. Only thanks to the cognition and evidence of those factors it is possible to appreciate the existence of the risk of perinatal mortality before and after 37 weeks of gestation. Objective of the study. The determination of influence factors of perinatal death before and after the 37 weeks of gestation. Materials and methods: A retrospective study case-control with 79 cases of perinatal deaths which were divided in two lots: the cases of death before 37 weeks and cases of death after 37 weeks. The methods of analysis: the matrix BABIES. Statistics: calculation of incidence, the approximate value, the significance of the p value, relative risk (OR), the confidential interval (CI). Results. The perinatal mortality in preterm births - 7,0‰, the perinatal mortality in term births – 2,3‰. The risk factors in perinatal death before 37 weeks and after 37 weeks: age OR – 0,86 (95 CI 0,28-2,64), p>0,05, primiparity OR – 0,42 (95 CI 0,12-1,41), p>0,05, the intelectual ocupation OR – 2,76 (95 CI 0,93-8,18), p>0,05, the manual labor OR – 1,58 (95 CI 0,23-10,7), p>0,05, the infection of urinary tract OR – 1,26 (95 CI 0,45-3,50), p>0,05, the gestational anaemia OR – 2,70 (95 CI 0,94-7,78), p>0,05, the cesarean section OR – 0,22 (95 CI 0,02-2,02), p>0,05. Conclusions: (1) The perinatal mortality rate in preterm birth is the 3 times higher than in term birth, but there does not exist significant difference between risk factors in perinatal death before and after 37 weeks of gestation. (2) There is a necessity to continue the study on an extensive group for making an ample conclusion. |
