Rezumat

The current issue of DIDACTICAPRO... has intellectual education in focus, as an essential facet of the educational process that has impact and influence on the other traditional domains of education and fosters the development of perso-nality at the cognitive, scientific level. The opening article, signed by Vl. POHTLA, is a reflection upon the pathway of the educated, in becoming an intellectual of the XXI century. The second article within the column QUO VADIS?, "In the micro-universe of learning" (G.ALBU), unfolds the role of the teacher during the two important stages of learning (of advancement and ofjoy, of independent leaning) and his/her actions' influence on the pupil. Several articles of the EX CATHEDRA column ("Intel-lectual education and learning" (Vl.PASLARU), "Intellectual education of the pupil as a functional network of learning" (A.GHICOV), and "The theorization and the empirical approach in the process of intellectual development" (V.TVIRCUN) emphasize various theoretical aspects of the intellectual education. Other articles of the same column are: Alolingv - a functional lexeme in and for Romanian language" (T.CALLO); „The contrastive analysis as a basic principle of inter-comprehension" (N.COCIERU); „Putting in practice the principle of contextual learning via the case study method" (N.PETROVSCHI); „Methodological fundamentals for the pre-service training of the teachers of informatics" (O.CHIRCHINA); „The school Olympiads with oral tests in exact sciences" (M.TELEUCA); "Creativity and pre-service training of future teachers of technological education" (E.ROTARI). The GENDER EDUCATION column, published in coo-peration with the Centre "Partnership for Development" inserts several articles, theoretical as well as practical, for promoting the gender sensitive culture into education: Jn-service teacher training from the perspective of gender education" (T.MUTU); „Gender education - an opportunity for change" (I.BAXAN); „Every period of history has its generation. Ideas for gender education for children and parents" (D.VACARCIUC); „The Woman in the Army. A class hour designed by children" (E.ROMANCIUC, C.STANCIU). What is it like to be a school director?, asks I.GĂLUŞCĂ in the article „The directress" within the column EDUCATI-ONAL MANAGEMENT, answering this question through drawing a profile of Ms. E.COJOCARU, who leads the „Ştefan Vodă" Theoretical Lyceum from Cărpineni, Hînceşti. FOR A QUALITATIVE TEACHER TRAINING are pleading T. COCIAŞ (Presentation of the , Amici dei Bambini" Association from Moldova) and V.CIOBANU, V.DONCIU participants in the Training program 2008-2009 provided by APSCF („A step forward in preventing violence"). The column INCLUDING ME presents successful expe¬riences of inclusive education, brought to the attention of those interested in the domain by L.SCLIFOS and A.GUZUN („Best practices of inclusive early and pre-school education"). The column EXERCITO, ERGO SUM contains several practice based articles: on development of various students' competencies: of scientific research (L.SCLIFOS); ofexpressing opinion on a literary work (M.MARIN); on elaborating a reading journal (A.GRAMA-TOMIŢĂ); and on developing creativity (V.CAPLINSCHI). About formative functions of the questions are writing C.DUMITRU and G.DUMITRU; V.CAVCALIUC presents a model of computer use at any subject. The methods of DEVELOPING CRITICAL THIN-KING can be applied very efficiently during excursions organized for primary school students, claims L.URSU; and O.COSOVAN argues for developing a personal intellectual style via development of divergent, critical thinking. S.CRISTEA is traditionally signing the DICTIONARY column that incorporates a detailed deinition of the concept intellectual education.
