Charles Darwin (12.II.1809-19.IV.1882) – founder of evolutionary theory, up to the present time remains one of the most remarkable personalities in biology, doctrine which turned evolutionary biologists thought of XIX-XX centuries. We give a brief biography of the life and work before and after the world tour on the ship “Beagle”, refers to the main provisions of the theory of evolution - Darwinism and „Neo-Darwinism„ (the synthetic theory of evolution), in which for an explanation of certain provisions of Darwinism (natural selection, variability and heredity), were involved in genetic data, micro- and macromutations, doctrine of the populations |
