The paper presents the results of health surveillance of the occupationally exposed personnel to ionizing radiation personnel, which is one of the legal responsibilities of the public health system in accordance with all measures and European practices, provided by national leg- islation. Blood count indicators of category A specialists involved in radiological practices (ionizing radiation therapy and diagnostic radiology) during 2013-2015 have been analyzed. According to gender there was found different radio sensitivity to the action of the ionizing radiation. Thus, blood count analysis results in women demonstrate that in the 2013 year hemoglobin decrease was highlighted, manifested by triggering of anemia. Red cell factor, as is anemia accelerates erythrocyte sedimentation rate, which refiects the high value of the ESR indicator. Jn the next years of study, it was found a slow dynamic of normalization of blood indicators, except the content of lymphocytes in men, which in the years 2014 and 2015 have increased significantly. Lymphocytes being the cells that participate in immune reactions, have determined/characterized the state of pre immune resistance of the organism in the nominated case. Comparing the research results into dynamic of laboratory investigations of personnel involved in the radiological practices with those of the previous years has not established significant changes. This is explained by the compliance of the requirements about radiation protection in mentioned structures: the endowment with modern equipment, used during the investigations, which contributes to the safe deployment of the radiological activities. |
