Rezumat

The current edition of our magazine focuses on the issue of teachers' status in the contemporary society. In their articles, our authors try to comment on this actual problem from different perspectives. The column "Mapamond Pedagogic" offers an article concerning to teachers' status in Japan. The readers will find the main problems of status of teachers in the column "Quo Vadis" that provides a vary points of view on this issue. The column "Ex Cathedra" consists of articles, which elucidate another educational problems: moral education, pedagogical plans and curricula, appreciation of students' successes etc. In the new column, "Retrospective Pedagogice", the readers will find a exhaustive presentation of Comenius - the well known "star" of education. In the column "Vademecum Psihologic" we present some practical activities that valorize the importance of silence in the classroom and a psychological survey concerning to teachers emotional dimension. The column "Development of Critical Thinking" consists of articles, which provide interesting technologies improving teaching processes. In our traditional column "Dictionar", S. Cristea presents an article that describes, in very comprehensive words, the status of teachers.
