THE „PERESTROIKA” - REFLECTIONS OF POLITICAL LEADERS FROM MOLDOVA The Republic of Moldova, which gained its independence on 27 August 1991, still can’t solve the political, social and economic issues that arise in the process of stabilization. The path of building a democratic state, as well as in some other post-Soviet countries, started with an armed conflict. The creation of a crisis situation takes its origins in the late 80s, when the Soviet republics raise their heads all sorts of social movements. These sentiments are not spared and Moldavian Republic. Over the last 5-6 years have been published memoirs of former Presidents of the Republic of Moldova in Chisinau. Among them we should mention: Mircea Snegur and Petru Lucinschi, who published their books, reflecting the thinking of presidents, meanwhile, we should emphasize a series of interviews with memories of „perestroika”, authored by former President Vladimir Voronin. The political career of the three political activists directly related to key moments in the history of the Republic of Moldova in the period of „perestroika” and after independence. It is known that all memoirs are often subjective. However, the opportunity to systematize these memories and works of top political leaders of the country about the events of those years, will allow us to better represent the situation currently prevailing in the Soviet Moldavia times of „perestroika”. |
