The essential purpose of this scientific research consists in the detailed analysis of the specialized judicial trial as a relevant method for struggle with criminal offences of terrorist character. This scientific paper is based on the description and studying of the necessity of judicial system improvement by means of introduction of special lay judges for the criminal offenders who had committed the terrorist attacks and other crimes of terrorist character. There have been demonstrated that on the international level states must endeavor efforts to develop and maintain an effective and rule of law-based of national criminal justice system that can ensure, in planning, or perpetration of terrorist acts or in support of terrorist acts with due respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms after terrorist suspect has been arrested, charged, detained and prosecuted. |
