The fission of the late URSS and the appearence on its territory of 15 new independent states generated for Russia a geopolitical and geostrategical situa-tion absolutely new. Russia was "pushed on the buttom of Eurasia" an event pe-rceived as something inadmissible for the country which during the centuries played a major role in the international policy but also in that european. At the same time, pretending to be qualified as a great power, Russia aspires after the retrievement of the past state, that of Super power. To reach its purpose, Russia used in its relations with the last Repablic of Moldova different pressures with political, economical and military nature. So, the present article examines the dimension of strategies hard and soft power of Russian Federation to mantain Republic of Moldova and inclusively in transnistrian zone in its spere of influience. |
