Prin articolul de faţă sunt introduse în circuitul ştiinţific materialele, colectate de pe suprafaţa a două aşezări precucuteniene din preajma satului Cărbuna (r-nul Ialoveni, Republica Moldova). De pe prima aşezare, Cărbuna I, larg cunoscută în lumea ştiinţifică, datorită descoperirii în 1961 a tezaurului cu obiecte de prestigiu, provine o colecţie de unelte din piatră, remarcabilă prin numărul mare al topoarelor din rocă dură (magmatică?). Materialul de pe a doua aşezare, Cărbuna XI, este reprezentat de mai multe fragmente ceramice, care permit sincronizarea acestui sit inedit cu aşezarea Cărbuna I şi încadrarea lor în sfârşitul etapei Precucuteni III în interfluviul pruto-nistrean.

The article publishes the finds from the surface of two Precucuteni settlements located in the surroundings of the Cărbuna village (Ialoveni district, Republic of Moldova). The material from the first site, Cărbuna I, which is wellknown to the scientific community due do the discovery in 1961 of a hoard with ceremonial items, is remarkable by the quite large number of axes, made out of solid magmatic (?) rocks. The material from the second site, Cărbuna XI, is represented by ceramic fragments which allow us to synchronize this settlement with the Cărbuna I site and to date them with the end of the Precucuteni III stage in the Prut-Dniester interfluve.
