Based upon archival documents and several collections from the heritage of the National Museum of Archaeology and History of Moldova, the author introduces in the scientific circles new data about the life and activity of the painter Nicolae Coleadici, graduate of the School of Fine Arts from Chişinău, a plastic arts artist which contributed to the development of the Bessarabian plastic arts in the interwar period.

Статья освещает жизнь и творчество художника Н. Колядича, имя которого было почти неизвестно. В результате поисков автору удалось выявить уникальные документы, раскрывающие страницы его жизни и творчества. В работе использованы архивные материалы, которые доказывают, что Н. Колядич внёс определённый вклад в развитие живописи Бессарабии в межвоеный период.
