L’article traite le problème du passage de l’imaginaire linguistique à l’imaginaire interculturel. Le nouveau « statut » de la langue dans les sociétés appartenant aux Étatsations, les redéfinitions auxquelles elle a été soumise, la remise en question du domaine même de la linguistique générale en faveur des sciences du langage ont déterminé l’épanouissement incroyable et inespéré d’une théorie qui impose les représentations « imaginaires » dans et sur la langue, celle de l’Imaginaire linguistique fondée par Anne-Marie Houdebine et son école. L’Imaginaire linguistique est né de l’ « imaginaire » qui a connu des dizaines de syntagmes possibles: imaginaire littéraire, imaginaire sociologique, imaginaire didactique, imaginaire francophone, imaginaire politique … Il ya tant de contextes de manifestation de la/des langue/s, tant d’ « imaginaires », car le concept et la théorie se multiplient tout en se diversifiant, une fois avec les échantillons d’analyse prélevés dans la/les langue/s pour se constituer en corpus fonctionnels. A côté de l’analyse des normes et usages dans la langue, de l’investigation des phénomènes de néologie et argot, d’enrichissement du vocabulaire, l’imaginaire linguistique porte aussi et surtout sur les représentations et les stéréotypes issus des mentalités, des effets du plurilinguisme et du contact entre les langues, par conséquent, entre les cultures. A partir du locuteur, tout un mécanisme culturel et interculturel se déclenche dans la langue qui devient subitement le dépositaire culturel le plus important. On donne plusieurs exemples illustres d’imaginaire culturel roumain (linguistique, historique, mentalités) qui englobe maints aspects reliés à l’existence humaine, placés dans un imaginaire interculturel, généré dans un contexte de vie particulier.

The article deals with the problem of transition of linguistic imaginary to intercultural one. The new “status” of the language in societies belonging to the nation-states, redefinitions which it was submitted to the questioning of the same field of general linguistics for language sciences have determined the amazing development and unexpected a theory which requires the “imaginary” in representations and on the tongue, the language of the Imaginary founded by Anne-Marie Houdebine and her school. Imaginary linguistics was born of the “fantasy” that has seen dozens of possible phrases: literary imagination, sociological imagination, teaching imagination, imaginary francophone, political imagination ... There are so many contexts of the event the language(s) both of “imaginary” because the concept and theory multiply while diversifying, once with the analysis taken from the the language(s) samples to form themselves into functional corpus. Beside the analysis of standards and practices in the language, investigating phenomena neologisms and slang, vocabulary, imagination linguistic door and above the representations and stereotypes from the attitudes, effects of multilingualism and language contact, therefore, among cultures. The speaker, while cultural and intercultural mechanism is triggered in the language suddenly becomes the most important cultural custodian. We give several examples of famous Romanian cultural imagination (linguistics, history, attitudes) that encompasses many aspects related to human existence, placed in an intercultural imaginary generated in the context of particular life.
