The paper presents a fragment of the national picture of the worldview of Chisinau citizens, the specificity of which is due to the city water bodies. Using the conceptual and terminological apparatus of modern conceptology and linguistic culturology the author analyzes the concept of the "Komsomol Lake" in the worldview of the citizens. Appealing to the texts of the XIX and XX centuries allows the author to explore the topic in diachronic terms. Illustrative material is presented by the literary texts, memoirs, publications in the media, sayings from the online discussions, works of urban folklore, collected through questionnaire of population on the problem of cross-cultural interaction in multi-ethnic environment in the Republic of Moldova.

Lucrarea reprezintă un fragment din viziunea naţională asupra lumii a cetăţenilor Chisinaului, în special asupra corpurilor de apă a oraşului. Utilizînd aparatul conceptualterminologic şi lingvoculturologic modern, autorul analizează conceptul "Lacul Komsomolist" în viziunea orăşenilor. Apelarea la textele din secolele XIX şi XX permite autorului să exploreze tema din punct de vedere diacronic. Materialul ilustrativ este prezentat de texte literare, memorii, publicaţii în mass-media, exemple din discutiile online, din folclorul urban, culese prin intermediul chestionarului populaţiei pe problema de interacţiune interculturală în mediu multietnic al Republicii Moldova.
