Rezumat

This title wants to suggerate that Enescu was the “national” composer visible from his early youth,in works like the Romanian Poem and the Rhapsodies, but also the “universal” composer suffering French and German influences kept some time during his maturity. But it’s obvious that the Romanian influences were visible, directely or indirectely, in some movements of his Sonatas and Symphonies, until the “total” presence of the Romanian element dominating some “chefs d’oeuvre” like the IIIrd Sonata for piano and violin, the Impressions d’enfance or the Suite Villageoise. Great lyric, as the French critics observed (Golea, Gavoty, Rebatet), he realized an extraordinary evolution with his Chamber Symphony, his musical will, showing us an unexpected look of a composer who lived with his time and suggesting ours.

Cuvinte-cheie
