Rezumat | ||||||
Teaching languages, today more than ever, has to deal with an intercultural communicative process. Intercultural dimensions are a fundamental requirement on linguistic education. Dealing with the pedagogical problem of interculturality necessarily implies researching of the varied aspects of this phenomenon to determinate the reasons that put the intercultural dimension in a central position in language learning. The need for learning many languages has different aspects related to the acquisition of new competences. The reinforcement of intercultural competence’s importance arises from modern globalization that creates relationships among countries and among workers and
institutions. People must deal with socio-cultural contexts in order to understand each other when intercultural competence is involved. Every student has some initial level of intercultural strategic competence due to the previous communicative experience that should be improved and developed when learning a new language. One of the most
effective ways to develop intercultural strategic competence is using Internet communication in foreign language classroom and in an independent Learning. |
