The article evokes the fate of Dumitru Ţara, a descendant of deportees, who, overcoming difficulties, became a well-known and appreciated civil servant and man of culture. He wrote numerous articles, edited poetry books, initiated a series of cultural projects, including the construction of the church in the village of Roșietici, and a 15 volumes encyclopedia of the settlements of the Republic of Moldova.
