Rezumat

Science or art, forensics, a field of knowledge in the contemporary age of mankind, has proven its relevance and usefulness in the efficient administration of criminal justice around the world. Thus, forensics has evolved from an independent science to a universal one, integrated into a unique system of scientific knowledge. At present, it can be said that the criminal process is generally based on a coherent system of technical means, tactical rules and methodologies with a strong scientific character, which is likely to guarantee compliance with the principles of fairness and the finding of legal truth in time. reasonable, through a rapid and secure judicial identification and individualization of criminal law subjects and the fair application of sanctions to all participants in the commission of crimes, a system that must be constantly enriched and improved by the combined effort of doctrinaires and practitioners in the field. Judicial bodies also have at their disposal a modern and sophisticated set of advanced techniques with the support of which they can proceed to identify persons and their physiological features that are difficult or impossible to modify.
