Rezumat

Creating an effective research and innovation system, reviewing the normative framework in the field of
research and innovation, connecting to the European Research System, supporting high-performance and
quality research, promoting excellence in the field of research and innovation, are important milestones fixed in
the Strategic Action agenda of the Ministry of Education and research of the Republic of Moldova.Psychological
research is an important segment for supporting and developing the educational system and solving the many
problems that arise in this context.
This article presents the latest scientific research and psychological studies carried out in the Republic
Of Moldova with reference to the affectivity of children, adolescents, young people and teachers. In this context,
research related to the affective field of pupils of different ages are mentioned, especially those that address the
particularities of affectivity, reveal data with reference to anxiety, depression, empathy, tolerance, feeling of
gratitude, etc. Also, studies are presented looking at the affective sphere of teachers, on particularities of
affectivity, emotional burning syndrome, professional passion, emotional stability, stress, stress tolerance, etc.
At the same time, this article reflects psychological research promoted during the COVID-19 pandemic,
the period in which the educational process was carried out at a distance.Thus, we identify and analyze the
emotional states of pupils and teachers in this context. Similarly, the most up-to-date studies concerning the
characteristics of the affectivity of educational subjects in the context of a pandemic are presented, some
emotional problems of pupils in this context are listed, some recommendations for improving the situation in the
field of research and innovation are indicated.
