The site Kozareva Mogila is located in the vicinity of the town of Kableshkovo, Pomorie municipality, 4.5 km from the modern Black Sea coast, south of Stara Planina. This is a settlement mound and a necropolis from V-III millennium BC. The report will present materials from the end of the Kodžadermen-Gumelniţa-Karanovo VI culture. These are two consecutive horizons of the settlement mound, which refer to the end of phase III and phase IV of this culture. In both, apart from the pottery typical for the Kodžadermen-Gumelniţa-Karanovo VI culture, type C pottery was also found (ceramics with crushed mussel shells in the dough). In addition to type C pottery, there are other finds that indicate the presence of a population originating from the steppes of the North Black Sea coast. This paper presents these finds and the context of their discovery. |
