Rezumat

The 11th edition of the Theatre European Aword housed in Tesalonika (Greece) in April 2007 nominated Robert Lepage prize winner granting him deserved appreciations. At the gala of the European Theatre Aword, in the speech made before awarding the winners the following was declared: „Robert Lepage is equally a film maker, author, an authentic inventor of new theatrical forms and one of the leading personalities of the crucial period of the recent change of the millenium. With his distinction E.Lepage completed the list of the laureates – renovators of the 20th century. New names that add particular pages to the universal theatrical movement continue to appear on the theatrical map. The „Lepage” theatre blends with none of the well – known theatre typologies. He is the successor of the most varied cultural traditions. His theatre is a subtle game with space, with modern technologies. At the same time it is a poetry in which the solitary person contemplates the universe. Lepage considers the theatre to be a gathering, a meeting of groups of people who come to recount history. The performance Project Anderson is a trip to temporary space. The play is a challenge to the director’s imagination. At the same time ,it is a proof that he really belongs to a theatre of poetry.
