Rezumat

The article analyzes the sonatas for violin and piano of two Moldavian composers: B. Dubossarschi and V. Rotaru. Written at the end of the twentieth century, they reflect the style and genre parameters of the Moldovan instrumental music. The main characteristics of these creations are: the artistic individuality, deep ideological conception and high professionalism of the composers. The author examines compositional peculiarities and the drama of the mentioned works, pointing out their language and musical genres. The author also unveils the national roots reflected in the music of B. Dubosarschi and V. Rotaru.
