Rezumat

The current issue of our magazine brings in focus the problem of promoting creativity, via the means of life-long learning, as an innovation stimulus and a key-factor for development of personal, professional, entrepreneurial and social competencies, as well as for increase of the wellbeing of the members of society. The development of the students' creative and innovative spirit is a demand of time. Such a complex undertaking requires the following conditions: creative and innovative schools, creative and innovative managers and teachers, creative and innovative school-family partnerships, creative and innovative teaching approaches, strategies and technologies. These are the central ideas of the articles signed by Vl. Pohilä, C. Cretu, M. Dumitrana, Valentina Lungu, Viorelia Lungu, V. Chicu, A. Cazac, L. Sclifos and S.Cristea. Various aspects of developing the communicative and linguistic competencies of students in secondary and higher education are approached by N. Cäruntu and N. Cocieru. The column Developing Critical Thinking conveys suggestions for applying the RWCT techniques within "Sciences" subject in primary school, through the experiential activities for environmental education (L.Ursu and S. Ginju), and within the „Psychology" subject taught at the lyceum level (A.Solovei). Other topics of this issue include the lesson planning from the perspective of con-structivist education (N.Petrovschi), and the theory of curricular development (M. Mihäescu).
