This article is devoted to the 25th anniversary evocation of the adoption of the Declaration on the sovereignty, being analyzed the legislative and normative efforts, institutional and diplomatic of the international affirmation of the newly independent state - Republic of Moldova. The adoption of a package of probative documents assured legislative and normative support to exercise foreign policy and ensuring national security, and the institutional structures that have been created, conducted promote the Republic of Moldova on the world stage through international recognition, establishment of diplomatic relations, opening diplomatic representations and participation in the governmental international organizations with different status. Given that even the constitution the Republic of Moldova faced with serious problems of insecurity, the research is characterized by the interconnection of foreign and security policy, in which the status of proclaimed permanent neutrality role is crucial.
