Rezumat

The concept of “the European dimension of the Education” continues to be the subject of many interpretations and reinterpretations. The documents Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment (CEFR), European Profile for Language Teacher Education – A Frame of Reference (Kelly et al, 2004), Portfolio européen pour les enseignants en langues en formation initiale (Newby et al., 2007) y Las competencias clave del profesorado de lenguas segundas y extranjeras (Instituto Cervantes, 2012) constitute a genuine common framework shared between all those who are directly involved in the process of providing a qualitative education. These documents aim to create a pragmatic convergence of the European dimension of the LEs teaching/learning in the actual geopolitical context. The given article includes the key-competences required for didactic profession and seen as the future “basic actors of every strategy to stimulate the development of the society and economy (…)”.
