În acest articol sunt relevate începuturile Televiziunii în Moldova din amintirile inauguratorilor televiziunii, dar şi paşii premergători făcuţi de televiziunea din spaţiul ex-sovietic, parte a căruia a fost şi Republica Moldova – calea de la fenomenul televiziunii ca experiment tehnic şi până la televiziunea ca cel mai important mijloc de comunicare de masă în ziua de azi. De asemenea, sunt prezentate mai multe argumente în favoarea afirmaţiei că, în anii puterii sovietice, factorul politic, de agitaţie şi propagandă de partid a devenit decisiv în programele televiziunii, emisia fiind considerată armă a Puterii, ce avea menirea să educe masele în spiritul ideologiei marxist-leniniste.

In this article the author refers to origins of the Television in Moldova. There are memories of founders of television in our country and the first steps taken by the television in the former Soviet area, part of which was the Republic of Moldova, as well as the journey from the TV broadcasting as technical experiment to television as the most important way of mass communication today. Also several arguments are presented in favor of the statement that during the Soviet times political factor of agitation and propaganda of the party, took a decisive role of television program editing, broadcasting being considered as tool of the Power, meant to educate the masses in the spirit of marxist-leninist ideology.
