Rezumat

The subject of this article is the status and the image of social economy within the contemporary mentality. In this context, it is identified, as one of the main causes of the modern civilization failure, the existence of a fundamental structural error of the current economic organization. In the political and economic system of the modern state, the social economy has only the role of a peacemaker, softening(pacifier) or „cleaner” the social problems caused by free market economy, such as inequality, poverty, marginalization, exclusion, etc. I will show not only that the necessary advancement of liberal market economy as fundamental organization of developed civilization is the result of limited cultural ideology, of technical rationalism. As long as this cultural representation is unchanged, the future development of the human race is insecure. Harmonious and healthy development of the global economy requires, in turn, a rethinking of the bases of the political and economic system in line with the development and evolution of human consciousness.
