Rezumat

The article touches upon the evolution and influence of the military elements on the vestiary aspect of the society. Military clothing elements that appear within national habits like “Capra”, where the soldier is promoted. Ulteriorly the author speaks about the scar of the II World War left on the socio-economic and cultural areas of the societies that were implied in it. The clothing masculinisation, during the Soviet period, the promotion of the masculine and powerfull women led to the adoption of the uni sex style. The clothing illiteracy, that makes the consumer go to the extreme ways, stimulate men to opt for metrosexualism while women become exhibitionsts. The chromatic monotony from the former USSR space, evolved into a clothing polichromy. The influence of the military domain dimished step by step, but it came back with a new strenght, together with the Soviet war in Afganistan. The crossroad of the 20’th and 21’st centuries is dominated by extravagance and style mixture, where the military style is dominating, and largely approached by designers. In the 2008-2010 period the military style domination decreases, because of the strenghtening of the fashion of the 1970 -‘ 80s. In conclusion the author underlines the the strong relation of interdependence between the evolution of the clothing industry and the military topic within it.
