A study on antidiphtheria immunity level. Serological tests and results The level of morbidity and spreading of pathogenic agent is in complete and absolute concordance with the vaccinal coverage for all population, both children and adults, and with the level of diphtheria antitoxin. The main goal is to stop the spreading of diphtheria, to vaccinate more than 95% of total population. Data on the immunity to diphtheria of 10.095 persons are cited in the paper. The level immunity among total population ≥ 0,03 IU/ml is 89,3±0,6% ; ≥0,12 IU/ml is 74,9±0,8. There is a tendency towards the diminution of immunity in children and the increasing of it in adults. The level of immunity to diphtheria of the population on 9 territories out of the investigated 14 ones was low. It has been ascertained that the level of immunity for the elimination of this disease has to be 95% and more of the total number of inhabitans of R.Moldova.

Nivelul de morbiditate prin difterie este în concordanţă deplină cu volumul şi regimul de imunizări sistematice ale populaţiei, urmărindu-se un nivel de protecţie antidifterică înalt atît la copii, cît şi la adulţi. Evaluarea nivelului de imunitate antidifterică s-a realizat pe un lot de 10095 subiecţi de vîrstă diferită. Doi indici de protecţie au fost calculaţi: protecţia imună antidifterică, titre ≥0,03 UI/ml(generală); ≥0,12 UI/ml (cu protecţie individuală). Nivelul mediu de protecţie antidifterică pe lotul studiat a fost de 89,3±0,6% (≥0,03 UI/ml); 74,9±0,8%(≥0,12 UI/ml). O diferenţă însemnată între protecţia imună la copii şi cea mult mai redusă la adulţi a fost remarcată. Evaluarea nivelului de protecţie antidifterică în populaţia din 14 teritorii afectate de difterie atestă o protecţie imună înaltă la copii şi mai redusă la adulţi, în 9 teritorii. Situaţia favorabilă stabilă privind difteria poate fi menţinută la un nivel de protecţie mai înalt de minim – 95%, prin realizarea imunizărilor sistematice ale populaţiei generale.
