In this article, the author examines the basic objective tendencies, trends and perspectives of present-day globalization process and a nation state. The correlation and contradictory character of the main globalization stimulus and motive and the place and the role of a nation state is underlined. There are presented ideas of some of the honorable Russian and foreign researchers, which gives the main characteristic of the globalization in its influence under the state development in the article. The author notes that the change of communication forms can entail the change of thinking type and the origin of new civilization formers. In the present article attempt to understand the new global tendencies and to reveal some, seeming priority, directions of that amount of researches which concern to rather new direction of a political idea to global studies
