În articol este realizat un studiu cuprinzător al factorilor ce determină circulaţia obiectelor şi substanţelor interzise pe teritoriul instituţiilor penitenciare. Potrivit autorului, prevenirea pătrunderii obiectelor interzise către condamnați presupune nu doar confiscarea efectivă a obiectelor și substanţelor interzise, ci și identificarea cauzelor și condițiilor care contribuie la desfăşurarea activităţii ilegale, precum și eliminarea factorilor care contribuie la aceasta. În acest sens, în baza literaturii de specialitate şi a practicii penitenciare ce ţine de prevenirea introducerii obiectelor şi substanţelor interzise, sunt relevaţi factorii care afectează starea problemei examinate. Astfel, în vederea depăşirii problemelor ce ţin de prevenirea pătrunderii obiectelor interzise pe teritoriul instituțiilor penitenciare, sunt propuse o serie de măsuri organizatorice care vizează suprimarea acțiunilor considerate ilegale.

A comprehensive study of the factors that determine the circulation of prohibited objects and substances on the territory of penitentiary institutions has been carried out in the article. According to the author, preventing the penetration of prohibited objects by convicts involves not only the effective confiscation of prohibited objects and substances, but also the identification of the causes and conditions that contribute to the illegal activity, as well as the elimination of the factors that contribute to it. In this sense, the factors that affect the state of the examined problem are revealed, based on the specialized literature but also on the penitentiary practice related to the prevention of the introduction of prohibited objects and substances. Respectively, in order to overcome the problems related to the prevention of the entry of prohibited objects into the territory of penitentiary institutions, a series of organizational measures aimed at suppressing actions considered illegal are proposed.
