Almost every day we are listening to music, the majority of songs are in English nowadays. Songs represent an excellent authentic material. The educational process can be very pleasant for students if the teacher organizes the lesson in a way appealing to the students. One of the ways of creating a positive, emotionally colored atmosphere at the lesson is by using songs and music. By involving emotional memory, the material understudy is remembered faster and better. This article describes a set of activities with songs that can be used without breaking the curriculum. All the activities can be adapted to any topic. Students of different level can be involved in the class work, can enlarge their vocabulary and improve their listening skills.
