The scientifi c data on three directions was presented: (1) walnut vegetative breeding by grafting – in workshop and protected ground was obtained 87-96% and 68% respectively; (2) variability of the characters in the population – was revealed the wide spectrum of heredity of variability; collected gene
pool numbers 170 varieties, forms, hybrids; (3) distant hybridization of walnut varieties – were obtained hybrids combining hardiness and diseases resistance; yield kernel constitute 50-55%. |
