Rezumat | ||||||
In the Republic of Moldova, detainees are prohibited from accessing the Internet. Even so, some convicts ask the prison administration for access to the Internet. Such requests are rejected. This study analyzes the access of convicts to the Internet through the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights and the Constitutional Court. In this sense, it is concluded that the access of convicts to the Internet does not constitute a distinct right guaranteed by the Constitution or the European Convention on Human Rights. |
