Successively, on March 16th and 17th, 2023, two disparate events have, for several days, made a common top news agenda in the Republic of Moldova. The first event recorded the legalization in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova of the use of the phrase „Romanian language” in all spheres of state activity, while the second reported the sensational decision of the Hague Criminal Court regarding the issuance of an arrest warrant for children crimes against Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation. Examined in reverse, the first event recorded the historic victory of the Romanian language in a territory seized by Russia, while the second related to the great historic impasse in which its persecutors - Putin and Russia - have ended up. |
