Introduction. Language education involves the formation and development of communication capacities through knowledge of language systems (phonetic, lexical, grammatical and stylistic) and the deep involvement of the student in the production of communication acts. Objective of the study. The purpose of this research is to identify ways to learn medical terminology for the possible elaboration of medical public discourses. In order to understand a specialized text, we must go beyond correspondences at the level of individual terms and to be able to establish interlinguistic references to entire knowledge structures. Materials and Methods. The basic methods used in the research were the observation and classification, but also the contrastive analysis of the terms from Romanian – English – Russian. In essence, the theoretical approaches in the article are based on cognitive linguistics. Result. Language education based on the study of medical terminology is therefore an essential component in the training of a doctor – researcher, who will be able to present a public medical discourse, actively and effectively using medical terms. Conclusions. Communication skills in Romanian language are trained in various situational relationships, which form the linguistic competences necessary to generate spontaneous speech. This activity is carried out on the basis of particular principles: integrated appropriation of the subject of study; evidence of linguistic phenomena in the mother tongue; the formative character of the educational process; accessibility of the subject matter of study; axiological and praxiological character of the content, etc. |
