The present article puts into discussion the implementation in the penal law of Republic of Moldova of the settlements of the international penal law with regards to the illegal circulation of the narcotic and psychotropic substances, and their analogues and precursors. The author analyzes the level of implementing the penal provisions from the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs, the Convention on psychotropic substances and the UN Convention against illicit traffic in narcotic drugs and psychotropic in the Criminal Code of Republic of Moldova. Suggestions for improving the Criminal Code of Republic of Moldova and for better respecting the international conventions are given. |
