The subject of rape is one of the most discussed issues in the criminal law theory, because it involves a lot of controversial positions and different solutions on national and international level. However, the discussions are focused on the quality and gender of the subject, taking into consideration the specific features of such a crime against sexual life. The Criminal Code of Republic of Moldova provides the crime of rape in art. 171. |
