Geopolitical modifi cations which have been made on world map after the II-nd world war infl uenced in direct way the diplomatic activity too. From the one hand, world community initiated new collaboration and integration methods which have crystallized into a new international organisation – United Nations Organisation, formal successor of Nationals’ League. The new versatile diplomacy became a characteristic phenomenon to international contemporary life. The impressive infl uence of international organisations as at the global level so at the regional one became a realisation modality of foreign policy of minor powers, which unifying their efforts have obtained results in the coexistence fi ght with big powers. An extremely important role in diplomatic activity belongs to preventive diplomacy. The idea of preventive diplomacy as a form and peace maintenance and assurance method, for the fi rst time was formulated in Charta from Paris for a new Europe, where is provided that the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe will look for new forms of cooperation and new ways of confl ict preventing by political means. Along the last decades, more and more is confi rmed the term of “parliamentary diplomacy”. If we try to specify the fi elds of “parliamentary diplomacy’s activity”, we should mention only two sides of this: a) either, the parliamentary assemblies interfere actively in actions formulation of foreign policy; b) or, certain members of parliament, saving this quality, play the role of diplomats. |
