This article presents a study of the relationship between emotional intelligence and professional success of bank workers. Personnel evaluation or job performance evaluation is an activity that today is experiencing a very wide distribution area. If a few years ago there was a tendency to apply for employment tests of intelligence recently a new type of intelligence gain more ground in the organizational structures, namely emotional intelligence (EQ). Emotional intelligence is the ability of personal identification and effective management of emotions in relation to personal goals. Its finality is to achieve with minimal inter and intra-personal conflicts our goals. Our research conducted on 35 bank workers established that professional success depends on the level of emotional intelligence, so that people with high emotional intelligence are characterized by a higher motivation for success, job satisfaction, a higher degree of satisfaction of basic needs and an increased activism (components of professional success). To be successful is necessary to achieve the next factors: inner peace, health and energy, positive personal relationships, financial freedom, ideals and important goals, self-awareness. Emotional intelligence is the way to professional success. |
